Baja Scuba Diving Report - October 30th 2006

Diving Report:

We are very please to inform you about our weekly activities during our diving journey.

Since we had Hurricane Paul around, the weather was roof at the beginning of the week, regardless the end of the week was calm, sunny and hot… as October is always been. However, La Paz and the Islands are greener than ever, Butterflies, Flowers and Plants are decorating the unbelievable landscapes that are typical from this season. So, visibility has been good at most of the sites, specifically out at the Espiritu Santo Island and Cerralvo Island, we are talking about 50 to 70 feet, all the other places around the bay, (were it was raining) have been 30 to 40 feet.

Sea Lion Pops are getting very playful, soon, they won’t let you swim along because they will be requesting your attention, the way they do it making jumps, biting fins, chasing you, and racing between each other like torpedoes.

Hammer Head Sharks were seeing also around this weekend, groups of six, four and singles some times, depending on the occupancy of the dive site.

We hope this information helps your diving purposes and gives you options for your planning.

Hasta Luego!
