Rebreather Diving With The Cortez Club

No Bubbles Allows you To Get Up Close and Personal With the Reknowned Pelagic Sealife

Here at The Cortez Club we believe that the Sea of Cortez was created for Rebreather Divers. The Sea of Cortez is famous for its large pelagic visitors.

If you want to be in amongst the Hammerheads or swimming with the squadrons of Mantas, then CCR or SCR is the way forward. We can also provide you with a dive guide on CCR or SCR!…..yes, when we say no bubbles we mean no bubbles!

As we strive to make your diving as pleasurable as possible, we understand that sometimes travelling with cylinders and kegs of absorbent can often turn travelling further than your local dive sites into to a logistical nightmare.

To solve this we are one of the only dive centres in the World with steel 3litre/20cbf cylinders for rental. No more travelling with your diluent or O2 bottles! The cylinders have a max capacity of 200 bar (3000psi) and are fitted with the standard DIN valves for diluent & O2 respectively. Not only that we have steel 4 litre Draeger Dolphin Cylinders for rental too!

1 Day CCR Diving & Cylinder rental is $125 USD

(Price includes unlimited Air fills & one O2 fill)

Dolphin/Atlantis cylinders at same rate, up to 40% EANx

For the price of one days diving you get one O2 fill and unlimited diluent fills. The Cortez Club has Sodasorb available, in grades from 4-8, 6-12 and 8 -12.

We carry some Inspiration & Prism spares, but request that you bring your own spares. Sensor batteries are easily available in town, but please ensure you have spare O-rings, O2 sensors.

Please note: all closed circuit divers are required to carry a safety sausage/SMB. If you do not bring evidence of your qualifications, you will not be allowed to dive!
