Want to go deeper? The Cortez Club’s Deep Diver program is the starting qualification for those of you wishing to get into technical diving. Maybe you just want more assurance during your recreational dives?
The Cortez Club Deep Diver program is run over 4 dives, which are completed over at least two days. The minimum depth for these dives is 18- 30 metres or 60 – 130 feet. All dives are conducted with an Instructor and within no-decompression limits.
During the program you’ll cover the knowledge, skills and techniques needed to deep dive. The following is involved in the PADI Deep Diver program:
· Planning, organization, procedures, techniques,
· problems and hazards of deep diving.
· Risk factors and decompression-tables review, safety stops and emergency decompression procedures.
· Special equipment, descent lines and buoyancy control considerations.
· Procedures for flying after diving and high altitude diving, plus an
· orientation to recompression chambers.
